Sennen Beach is one of the best beaches in Cornwall, for swimming and sunbathing as well as surfing and water sports.
Sennen beach is just a little up the road from Land's End, the furthest west of Great Britain. This beautiful crescent-shaped beach, aptly named Whitesands Bay, is a mile of fine sand that face the mighty Atlantic Ocean, a location that makes it incredibly popular with surfers from all over the country and, indeed, the World.
But not only the surfing community enjoy Sennen Beach, it is also a lovely beach for families, swimmers and sunbathers with it's fine sand and the dunes and offer shelter from the wind. In the summer when it is safe to swim and surf at Sennen Beach, a good lifeguard service is in place.
Just a minute away from the beach is a the lovely Sennen village with shops, cafes and pub. Right on the beach is the fabulous BEACH restaurant where a beautiful lunch, snack or dinner can be enjoyed while taking in the spectacular views of the beach and the sea.
